Flashback
In the late 70s-early 80s, R-Gang band leader, Bill Syniar, was a member of a popular rock band called Tantrum. This 7-member rock group produced 3 albums on Chicago's Ovation Records label. Often compared to female rock band Heart, Tantrum featured 3 feamle vocalists. Tantrum will reunite for one night only to perform for the Haymakers Reunion Event, Sunday, Feb. 26 at Durty Nellie’s in Palatine. Haymakers was a popular breeding ground for many local bands. Tantrum will be joined on stage by 6 other Chicago bands from the same era. Proceeds benefit Little Kids Rock, part of the Fender Foundation, and The Caring Arts Foundation.
